Things which happend today and things learned on my way to work:

-Prior to my own misconception, Houdini died from complications of both the water torture cell act and multiple blows to the abdomen in a Detroit hospital on Halloween October 31st, 1926.

-Based on information from my own mother complaining that she receives Viagra Spam emails from her son, I've decided it's time to change my email account. According to NPR, Spam via email is down for last year and this year but rising via social networking media. Spammers mine personal information and actually send Spam links through a known sender. An old friend on Facebook could email you and you could reply only for the Spammer to mine your information. Tricking you into thinking the person is the one you know- still, with the link to the original spam, i.e. IQ Test.

-President Obama and Mrs. Michelle Obama tour Alabama today to witness Tornado destruction which claimed 300 lives.

-The last Space shuttle launch for NASA 'Endeavor' was to take place today. This was postponed because of techical issues. Supposedly 2 heaters weren't working. Next launch date for scheduled launch, May 1st.

-The Royal Wedding took place today starting at 8:15am LONDON time.

With a mutch anticipated meet up with friend Nick and way overdue, a hike was had today. The sun did not show itself until afternoon which made our rendezvous of 2pm perfect timing. Off to wonderful Griffith Park we went. Dante's Peak with the park like setting overlook on up to the seemingly highest peak of 360 degree sweeping unobstructed views of the outlining and Los Angeles areas. The fresh air was welcomed with good conversation, insightful acknowledgement and reminders of thyself. Four footed friend, Rex Maddox, enjoyed his jaunt too!

Returning home with a new Beaton book, a delightful gift from Nick, I eagerly awaited its pages. Having driven up the Hills and down through Hollywood, the automobile was taken to the drive through car wash on Santa Monica Blvd. Once the, 'Love & other Drugs' movie with Jake Gylenhal and Anne Hathaway was returned to the nearest Red Box, another movie was rented. 'The Fighter', with Christian Bale and Mark Wahlberg. Rounding out the day before Easter Sunday, a scrumptious smoothie was made of;

-Black Berries
-Banana
-Apple
-Ice
-Grapefruit juice
-Chilled Apple Cider
-Milk
-Honey Greek Yogurt

I was determined to make a list
of famous people I have encountered(less than 5ft. away), met, or had a conversation with after meeting the acclaimed shoe Designer Christian Louboutin yesterday. And encouraged more to do so after speaking with Jaclyn Smith for the 2nd time and conversing with Tracy Chapman today!
