I like it when people care. People can care a bit too much sometimes but I prefer that over not caring enough. It keeps the world running more happy and smoother.

designer showcase of west week ended then, my weekend. Saturday. starting with dog walking. then, outdoor shopping at century city westfield center on a beautiful day. continuing with drinks at work/showroom in la cienega design quarter with new acquaintances and roomate along for the ride. Bellini's (prosecco + peach nectar/liqueur) delicious! moving on, to LA hotspot KOI restaurant with yummy Japanese food fair, accompanied by eccentric guest purchasing 2 dozen roses for the table. next up, party goes forward with reservations at club Villa on melrose with free drinks upstairs and hip hop music in posh setting. denied at the next stop, club with huge crowds on santa monica blvd.(their loss):). roomate still with for late night 4am fun with more huge crowds at famed Roscoe's chicken and waffles in Hollywood (1st timer).
Sunday. starting with dog walking. sleep in. more dog walking. chillaxing at Aroma greek cafe on Sunset blvd. down the street from the apartment to soak in the sun and people watch. nurse the hangover with a healthy strawberry shake. back to the homefront for more sleeping. cap off the day with redbox movie "eagle eye" with shia lebouf. now to sleep for monday work.

So, yesterday I had a fortune cookie with no fortune in it. I think this means it's up to me for my own fortune making.
The bank requested me to tell them if I want a change to my account or keep it the same before the end of the month. The teller could not help me with this so I waited in another line, again. Then, there were no bankers to help so I had to wait, again. All this just to tell them I want my account to stay the same. Inconvenience? Yes. Is the world we live in today being more complex than necessary? Yes. Need another example? How about our nations ongoing wars.
